Recruitment 2024-2025
The MJSDL is a bilingual, student-run, peer-reviewed academic journal. The Journal provides a unique forum for productive debate and critical analysis of the economic, societal, and environmental issues surrounding sustainable development law. The MJSDL publishes articles written by academic, practitioners and students.
En plus de publier des articles académiques, la RDDDM publie des blogs et balados portant sur une grande variété de sujets liés à l’actualité dans le domaine d’écologie et le développement durable.
Associate Editor (Editorial Team)
As an Associate Editor, you will have the opportunity to work on editing the articles submitted to the Journal for publication. In this role, you will help select articles for publication, work to improve the language, style, and content of those articles, and check authors’ footnotes for proper citations. This will both help refine your legal reading and writing skills, and expose you to the most current literature on sustainable development law! You will also get the chance to work with upper-year editors to produce your own blog post or podcast episode.
Applications are due to jsdlp.eic.law@gmail.com by Friday, September 20 at 11:59 p.m. Applications will be reviewed and accepted as received. Early applications are strongly encouraged.
If you have any questions, feel free to email jsdlp.eic.law@gmail.com.
Samuel Anthony, Editor-in-Chief
Associate Managing Editor (Management Team)
As an Associate Managing Editor, you will work on the MJSDL’s non-editorial projects: leading events, maintaining the Journal’s social media and online presence, dealing with finances, and building professional relationships with authors and other important actors in the field of sustainable development. If you are interested in learning about running a small business and making connections in both legal and policy worlds – this is the position for you! Additionally, the Management Team is smaller than the Editorial Team, so you’ll be working closely with the Managing Editor to help run the Journal’s operations.
